If you’re new to faith, new to church in general, or new to The Brook, this is a great way to understand more about our church, our ministries, and opportunities for growth. It takes place in the worship center and includes a brief overview of The Brook.

Childcare is provided by RSVP.

Branches Book Club

Want to get involved with a supportive group of women, discuss women's issues in a spiritual setting, but don't have too much available time?  Join our Branches Book Club.  Taken from John 15:5, the theme is to be ALL IN for Jesus and each book is prayerfully considered within that theme!

We are currently on hiatus October - December 2017.  If you have an interest in a monthly group like this, please call/text Gina Thayer at 713-298-3004.

John 15:5  I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.

Sister to sister (S2S)

Sister 2 Sister was developed out of a need for women to connect, grow, and mutually mentor one another. We recognized that Sunday morning at 'The Brook' was not enough time for women to develop relationships that last and are centered in Christ.

Currently, we hold 4 events a year which explore relevant topics for women, promoting discussion, encouragement and growth in God's Word. We hope you will bring a friend and come join our next event!

Sunday, November 5

12:30 - 3:30  I  Discovery Kingdom Building (next to playground)

Recently, we compiled the surveys from our last event and recognized a need to make some changes. We have incorporated these observations, and made two changes:   we will meet immediately after the 3rd service and each participant will be able to attend more than one session. Mark your calendar now to see for yourself what Sister 2 Sister is all about!

November 5 Schedule:

12:30 - 1:15  Meal/fellowship

1:15 - 1:30  Intro/testimony

1:30 - 2:30  Group Session 1

2:30 - 3:30  Group Session 2

Topics for the sessions have been chosen from the surveys from the last event.  They are:

"Living a simplified life while balancing family and my relationship with God"  Ashley Bautista

"Helicopter Moms and Drill Sargent Dads"   Lisa Copeland

"How to walk by faith daily and remain faithful during times of adversity"  Amy Banta

"Real relationships: Imperfect people who refuse to give up on each other"
