who we are

“Real People, Finding Real Hope, in the Real World”

Since 1995 this vision has driven our church to develop authentic faith among all who attend The Brook. It’s more than a slogan to us — it’s who we are and what we’re becoming together. Our vision means...

  • Seeking to integrate our faith... into every dimension of life.
  • Building life-giving connections... with others who grow together and care for each other in Christian community.
  • Teaching the Bible... as the inspired Word of God and in a way that provides hope and guidance for life in the real world.
  • Involving ourselves in service... toward those in our church, in the community, and around the world.

Why the name? We get that question a lot. We wanted a name that would describe the experience we long for in our church— a place of cleansing, renewal, and restoration. A place that gives life, peace and perspective. All these are found in authentic connection with God and one another. These are the reasons we call ourselves The Brook.

I hope you’ll join us Sunday and discover for yourself the power of a church seeking to be real people, finding real hope, in the real world.
