Backpack Buddies
The Backpack Buddies Ministry at The Brook Church seeks to provide non-perishable food items for kids over the weekend when they may need some extra support. Every week, we have teams that pack bags in their homes to then be delivered to the school for kids to take home.

How does Backpack Buddies Work?
The Backpack Buddies Ministry is ran by a group of people from our church in collaboration with local schools in our community. You can see how it works below.
Church Members
People from The Brook Church make donations toward our "Pack The Pantry" drive. The food that is donated then gets divided up between the three schools we donate the bags to.
Host Homes & Drivers
We have three homes that represent each of the three schools that we serve. These homes operate as a mini food pantry that rallies people to help pack and deliver the bags that will go out to the schools.
School Counselors
After the bags have been delivered to the schools for that week. The school counselor will be sure to get the bags to the right kids before they go
home for the weekend.
