Mens Ministry

The Brook Men

“Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.”  Proverbs 27:17

The Brook men gather together to encourage each other to be better husbands, fathers, leaders and men of faith. We have breakfast throughout the year where we hear challenging messages specifically designed for the issues men face in the world and share testimonies of God’s work in our lives.

We host a variety of events, both on and off campus, that offer opportunities to engage in a community of authentic men while having fun and being challenged.

Men’s Breakfast

Saturday, October 30, 8-9:30am

Join us for breakfast at Harris County Smokehouse – Tomball on Saturday, October 30 at 8am. We will hear from guest speaker, husband, father, ministry leader and head football coach at Houston Christian, David Nelson. Don’t miss this. And invite another man. Breakfast will be self-pay. We don’t want money to be a barrier, so if you want to sponsor another man or you know a man who you’d like to invite who may need help, send an email to

Campfire Fellowship

Thursday, November 18, 6:30-8pm

There will be fire. There will be food. There will be fellowship. We will meet at the large fire pit near the back of Spring Creek Park on the left side of the main road (across from the archery range). Leaders will arrive by 5:30 to set up and get the fire going, so feel free to show up anytime thereafter. The official event time is 6:30-8p. Bring a folding chair. Invite a man.

Men’s Community Group

First and third Saturdays monthly, 8-9am

We are currently gathering at Café Marrese the first and third Saturdays of every month from 8-9 am to get into God's Word, share in authentic discussion, and encourage each other to be better husbands, fathers, leaders, and men of faith.

Wednesday Warriors Series

Every other Wednesday at 6:30pm

The Bible tells us God is a warrior God. Jesus also embodies the warrior perfectly, as he takes action, sets boundaries, defends the weak and lowly, and calls us out of our sin. This series will look at Biblical and historical figures and how they embodied their God-given warrior spirit as men. This group meets at The Brook in the church office modular. Open to men of all ages. It is led by Jason Boldt. Invite a man.
