The Message of the Gospel (vv. 1-4)

A. The Gospel transforms people (v. 1)

1 Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God,

B. The Gospel is from God (v. 2a)

2 which he promised beforehand

C. The Gospel is proclaimed throughout Scripture (v. 2b)

through his prophets in the holy Scriptures,

D. The Gospel is about Jesus (vv. 3-4)

3 concerning his Son, who was descended from David according to the flesh 4 and was declared to be the Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness by his resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord,

“You can take Buddha out of Buddhism and still have Buddhism. You can take Confucius out of Confucianism and still have Confucianism. You cannot take Jesus Christ out of Christianity and still have Christianity.” –Adrian Rogers

The Gospel gives Purpose (vv. 5-7)

A. The Call: Make Disciples (v. 5)

5 through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith for the sake of his name among all the nations,

B. The Goal: Jesus’ Glory (v. 5)

5 through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith for the sake of his name among all the nations,

C. The Means: God’s Grace (v. 5)

5 through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith for the sake of his name among all the nations,

D. The Scope: Every Believer (vv. 6-7)

6 including you who are called to belong to Jesus Christ,

7 To all those in Rome who are loved by God and called to be saints:

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

How are you involved in making disciples in your neighborhoods and among the nations?

75 minute Services

A typical service will last about 75 minutes with a mix of contemporary and traditional music that is led by our worship team. Our pastors share a Biblically-based message relevant to real life.

Students & Kids

Our Student Ministry (grades 5–12) and Kids Ministry (infants – grade 4) each offer identical, age-appropriate Bible teaching during both Sunday morning services.

Family Worship Days

The last Sunday of each month we come together for Family Worship Services (kids + students + adults worshiping together). Kids ministry is available for infants – pre-K only.
