Robby Pollard, Lead Pastor

Acts 1:8

8But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Five Solas of the Reformation

Sola Gratia (grace alone)
Solus Christus (Christ alone)
Sola fide (faith alone)
Soli Deo Gloria (to the glory of God alone)
Sola Scriptura (Scripture alone)

Scripture alone is the final authority.

Salvation is granted by grace alone through faith alone for the glory of God alone.

Habakkuk 2:4

4“Behold, his soul is puffed up; it is not upright within him, but the righteous shall live by his faith.

Galatians 3:11

11Now it is evident that no one is justified before God by the law, for “The righteous shall live by faith.”

Romans 1:16-17

16For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”

1 Corinthians 15:1-5

1Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, 2and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. 3For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, 4that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, 5and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.

Romans 1:16-17

16For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”

The teaching of the church: salvation through the church.

The teaching of the Scripture: salvation through Christ.

Sola Gratia (grace alone)

Solus Christus (Christ alone)

Sola fide (faith alone)

Soli Deo Gloria (to the glory of God alone)

Sola Scriptura (Scripture alone)

Romans 3:21-22a

21But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it— 22the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe…

Romans 3:22b-25a

22…For there is no distinction: 23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith…

Ephesians 2:4-7

4But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, 5even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— 6and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 2:8-9

8For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Grace alone. By faith alone. In Christ alone.

Romans 3:22b-25a

22…For there is no distinction: 23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith…

Grace alone. By faith alone. In Christ alone.
